Seven years younger than his brother Giuseppe, Rosario made his Offshore XCAT debut at the 2018 Fujairah GP, and it took him seven years to finally capture the world title.
The Italian duo outperformed the rest of the fleet during a fiercely contested 2024 season, steering the team’s Doug Wright hull to a Championship victory.
When not racing, Rosario serves as the technical manager of Hi Performance Italia, a leading nautical company in southern Italy founded by his father, Antonio.

The 2024 season marked a breakthrough for Giuseppe Schiano Di Cola, who, after years of steady progression in the XCAT Championship rankings, captured the world title at the Dubai GP alongside his brother Rosario.
It was not Giuseppe’s first UIM World Championship, however—he had already claimed the V1 World title in 2015.
For the Naples native, both racing and work are a family affair. He serves as Sales Manager of Hi Performance Italia, the nautical company founded by his father, Antonio, where his brother Rosario is also involved.
