Scott Williams is a veteran powerboat racer who began his career in the 1990s competing in open cockpit boats before briefly switching to Endurance Moto Cross.
Returning to boat racing, he moved up to larger Offshore classes and made his debut in the UIM Offshore XCAT World Championship in 2013 with the Spirit of Gibraltar team.
In 2021, Scott and teammate Martin Campbell launched Team GB in the XCAT Championship, ultimately clinching the 2023 World title after a hard-fought battle with Italy’s HPI Racing Team. Scott is the manager and a shareholder of Roofcare, a roofing business based in the Liverpool area in Great Britain.

Martin Campbell became involved in offshore powerboat racing in the early 2010s, joining the Negotiator Class 1 and Team GB XCAT teams as a staff member, working on boat setups, before moving on to race in the UK Marathon national class.
After training and preparations with Scott Williams to join the XCAT Series, Martin made his debut in the driver’s seat of the team’s Victory hull at the 2021 Fujairah GP. He quickly came up to speed and, together with Scott on the throttles, went on to win the 2023 Championship.
Outside the cockpit, Campbell is a business director in Wirral, Great Britain, and a qualified dive master.
