One of the most successful racers in offshore powerboat racing history, Arif Al Zaffain has won an astonishing total of five UIM Offshore XCAT World Championships and eight Class 1 World Championships, making him the most titled driver in XCAT history.
In 2025, Arif is teaming up with Belgian driver Francis Notschaele in the Faz Marine Racing team and is once again expected to be a strong contender for podium finishes.
Outside racing, Arif has been developing his performance and race boat-building company, which also bears the name Faz Marine.

A three-time UIM World & European Champion in Pleasure Navigation Endurance S1 and Sport 450 classes, Francis turned his focus to offshore powerboat racing a few years ago, beginning with a first spell in the 3D Class before joining the XCAT series.
In 2025, he teamed up with famed UAE racer Arif Al Zaffain, taking co-ownership of the Faz Marine Racing team and setting his ambitions high for the remainder of the season.
Away from racing, Francis is a successful businessman in the chemical industry, based in Belgium.
