At seventy-two, the Rome native is still chasing glory, having recently won the 2024 and 2025 UIM Offshore 3D World Championships.
His achievements also include multiple victories in the prestigious Centomiglia del Lario race, as well as the Offshore Class III 6 LL / 3D European Championship in 2002.
Serafino will be campaigning his Victory hull again in the 2025 season, aiming to replicate his Offshore 3D successes against some of the world’s top offshore teams.

Thirty-five-year-old Andrea Comello has been involved in offshore powerboat racing for more than a decade, gaining experience in the Offshore 3C class before moving up to the more powerful XCATs in 2014.
Andrea has been dividing his time between Offshore 3D and XCAT, joining several Italian crews.
Having returned to XCAT in 2024 with the Blu Banca-sponsored team of throttleman/team owner Serafino Barlesi for the Palermo GP, the Venetian driver will be looking to build on this renewed partnership over the remaining rounds of the 2025 season.
